A Letter from Tim & Stacy
We are a friendly and loving couple with nothing to hide and our lives to give! We always wanted children, but after years of infertility, knew adoption was a special way for children to enter into our family. Our son, Alex, was adopted from birth in 2013. We treasure the miracle and blessing he is! The open adoption we have with Alex’s birth mother and both families is a relationship we gladly welcome again, if you would like.
We married 6 months from first meeting each other and 11 years later, we still laugh and joke every day. We love being parents! Tim works as an electrician and is an all-around talented guy to have around. Stacy has a culinary degree, which always comes in handy, and truly enjoys being a stay-at-home mom, while working part-time managing storage units. This allows us to be with your child at all times, as we do not have a need for daycare.
We value spending quality time together every day. This family time helps us cope with life’s challenges, creates strong bonds, instills a feeling of security and family values, and fills kids with confidence! We believe sharing chores and decision making, talking and listening, and eating together, creates a better life for children too. It’s fun to see their manners and social skills develop and all the questions we get to answer in the process. We will always be there for your child.
I have learned from Tim the value of treating people how you want to be treated. If you go anywhere with him, he sincerely asks people how they are doing or how the day is going for them. Tim is patient and has a great attitude and outlook on life; always smiling. He has a love for history and prioritizes going on vacation each year, driving across the US finding the best food spots, hiking trails and opportunities to get the binoculars out to watch wildlife.
When Tim gets home from work each evening, not a moment is lost before he starts playing with Alex and he is excited to come home to another child to join in on the fun. He is a committed husband and father, offering protection and guidance for your child as they grow.
Stacy keeps our household together and she is excited to welcome another child or sibling set into our family. The same joy and happiness she shares with all of us as a wife and mother, she wants to share with your child. She always has time to play games and do movie nights as a family. Pizza And Popcorn are a favorite! She does a great job overseeing Alex’s education and instilling a love of reading in our home.
Stacy enjoys making things homemade like peppermint/lavender soap, whipped body butter, chapstick and old fashioned canning of tomato sauce, salsa and fruit preserves. She is happiest when she gets to be out in the sun tending to the garden, greenhouse, flowers and fruit trees.
Our days are filled with food, fun, reading, games, music, and dancing, and we look forward to sharing this with another child. Alex sweetly prays for siblings and being able to experience that special bond. We value both of our parents and see them weekly, as they live within 45 minutes of us. We eat many meals and share holidays together, enjoying a glass of Stacy’s homemade eggnog each Christmas and making and decorating Tim’s favorite cookie, gingerbread. We regularly visit and host our siblings and their terrific children, making many memories!
We enjoy the benefits of having neighbors, all in a wooded, country setting with a big yard to play in. The church we attend, as well as the library, local parks, pool, and great schools are only a few miles away. Our home has three bedrooms, a furnished nursery where we can flip through board books snuggled in a soft blanket, and a big kitchen with plenty of room for your child to grow, play and create race tracks on the floor and have stuffed animal parades.
We want you to know that we’ve done everything, through the adoption process, to assure you that we’re a solid family you can trust, moving forward, so that you are comfortable with the match you are choosing. We promise that our home and marriage is a safe, stable and nurturing environment. We are committed to be there in a way that you need and build a relationship you are comfortable with, now, and into the years ahead.

More About Our Family
Our Special Interests
We plan a trip with each side of our family, almost every year, finding new and fun camping and cabin locations for all the cousins to stay and play together. It's a great time to see our siblings and for the grandparents to be able to see all the grand-kids together. It's been a memorable tradition.
We are partners in Tim's parent's organic farm with the intention of preserving it for future generations. We also keep the farm records for yearly inspection, to comply with organic requirements. We spent last winter designing a shed cabin we will build so we can stay on the land over the weekends and other times of the year as the seasons change.
We love doing all the holiday traditions too, especially revolving around the 4 seasons we experience in Wisconsin. We host a big seafood bake for New Years, dye eggs and make lefsa (a Norwegian flour and potato flatbread resembling a tortilla) every Easter, observe Memorial Day by decorating the graves of loved ones, pick home grown strawberries and blueberries in the summer, visit apple orchards for cider and doughnuts in the fall, carve pumpkins and dress up for Halloween, bake and put together gingerbread houses for Christmas and make a special ornament for the tree.
With the future in mind, we are actively saving to support our children's college and higher education endeavors.
We both share a common belief in the promises and teachings of Jesus. The hope we have in Jesus is the foundation of our marriage and the life we try and live out together and as an example to our children. We are humbled that He calls us friend, precious, unconditionally loved, and redeemed. We enjoy reading from children's story bibles and have great discussions about life lessons learned. We encourage Alex that we have a constant companion and helper in Jesus.
Our Musical Interest
Tim - Country and Rock n Roll
Stacy - I love all music and have it playing in the background a majority of the day. Alex requests specific kids music which often leads to singing and dancing together!
We look forward to Alex taking lessons on the piano Stacy grew up playing on and that opening up to future musical interests for him. We can't wait to share this with another child.
About Our Home
We enjoy the warmth of a real, wood burning fireplace in the winter, on the main level, adjoining the kitchen and living space. A lot of art projects and cards happen at the dining room table. In the summer we are often in the lower level where it's naturally cooler during the hot months, playing games, watching movies or building forts. Behind the house, off the kitchen, we have a patio with dining space, grill, and fire pit where we like to spend time together. Surrounding the patio is all the fun stuff - enclosed trampoline, sandbox, and swing set.
Alex has a great appetite for life and activity! His experience with school has confirmed a kindness he has for those around him. He always invites other kids' to come and play together with him and waves "hi" to anyone we cross paths with, making their day a little brighter, as well as ours. We take advantage of the programs provided by our local library system from musical performances, interactive animal and insect exhibits, arts and crafts, and reading programs. New books are rotated every week and we have as much fun learning and exploring as he does. He always has a new joke to tell or a new dance move to show us. We laugh a lot and never hesitate to say "I Love You"!
We live in the state of...
There are multiple families with children in our neighborhood that we enjoy spending time with, and the kids get to play together. Everyone waves as they pass by when we are playing games in the yard or working in the garden. We catch up with each other when our neighbors let their dogs out, or we are on a walk or bike ride. It's not uncommon to get an invitation to a party every year from different neighbors hosting events. It's a great place to raise a family.
